Fun fact: You can get revenge and 15-20 BB in the tutorial, leave it and receive your full inspiration back.

That is wrong for providence Dallane.

That occurred on popham because the timer of the tutorial server was behind the timer of popham. When completing the tutorial and going to popham it was if you let a couple days pass before playing again. That was also the reason why you could lite a pine cone on fire in the tutorial and it would never go out when going to popham with it.

Unfortunately that does not work on providence as the timers are either synced or the tutorial is a future date in comparison to providence. Was an interesting bug :D

Ah I see. I haven't made a provi character in a very long time. Popham had a ton of interesting bugs.

Having a constant flame from burning pine cones was great we had like three coffers full of them just in case we died and lost them. Not to mention a pine cone lights a fire instantly which is a little off as well.

But just the same I left popham on one alt with 25 to all biles and all the study skills. Then went to popham and studied up and got trespassing, larceny, waste, sanctified mortification, and revenge. Then was able to do a bagel sessions on the character and got him to about 140 biles all done in under 4 hours.

A newbie may not be able to get to 30 biles right off but the base this guy has in his picture he should have been at least 80 biles by now.

My RL friend that started playing a few months ago without my help made it to 60 biles over the course of 2 weeks and this being the first computer game and MMORPG/Indi/sandbox/crafting game he has ever played. The guy can barely operate a console controller and still recognized that he could use power foods every 15 minutes.

My Question still remains - Do braziers shoot intruders when the claimstone is unpaid?

This char had decent biles for a stonewall base  I'm rather interested in other facts what I experienced for the first time.
What would have been the possibilites to escape from such situation. When you are stuck at your leanto surrounded by 4 braziers and you have nowhere to go.

It sounds silly that I have to make an alt and "Break" my first char out.

Yes, they fire when the claimstone is unpaid, but someone can weather the brazier/torch fire and then destroy the stone, at which point they cease to fire. If they claim over the area, the braziers and torches are then considered to be theirs, and will fire upon anyone without permissions.

Ok thank you for your answer. But theoretical Questions.
Lets say i have a town claim and personal claim on it? How the systems works than - if both are unpaid for example. Is the intrudor able to destroy the PC claim?

To echo Revisco. Yes if the claim is unpaid the braziers will fire. If the person broke in and ran straight for your pclaim and destroyed it they can claim over every brazier and the base is essentially theirs now. It has been a while but I believe if you have the right items on you you can KO yourself without committing a crime and respawn in town but that is a way of getting out of the pclaim and abandoning your area.

Chances are if someone took out your pclaim and then claimed over it you will have to wait no less than 20 days before you have a chance of destroying their claim (start your timer from the day you noticed). If they did not extend the pclaim at all then you have to wait 30 days.

Either way looks like you have to start over from scratch. It is better to find a new area and rebuild.

They will have to setup a Trial By Fire (TBF) to break into the base. They can then destroy the pclaim and then declare themselves mayor.

There is no point in paying the upkeep of your pclaim if you got a townclaim up AND if you connect at least every 24 hours. As long as your townbell is up and paid then a raider would have to wait 24 hours after building a TBF in order to destroy anything inside the town claim. Thus if you see a red shadow over your base it means you are being TBFed and you have plenty of time to add money to your pclaim.
