Well, you guys had me worried after the whole ... many deaths on account of one tiny cougar video and story >.> Finally met one, stashed my **** in some stumps and went for it @ 80ish biles with no combat gear to speak of. It got one hit in but other than that, should anyone include cougars into a future "how i mine for cougar tails?" help thread, it's the same as you would do with deers at low biles. You hide behind stuff and stomp, run on, strafe don't run directly away and you can easily dodge their pounce as you would a deer bullrun.

Edit: Also, will leave this here instead of making a thread in the bugs section just for this, but butchered shreds count as null, as was the case initially with march hares. Perhaps that could be changed so they inherit the right type.
