I have a quick question for anyone who would answer.

I have some compost bins and I placed a lot of worms in them because I thought it would produce humus faster. But that is not how worm efficiency works, right? Worm efficiency doesnt affect speed and actually it only wastes space in my compost bin as long as I dont have purity worms. Is this correct?

That's correct. The only thing worm efficiency does is affect how much of their elemental composition worms contribute to the resulting humus's elemental composition. I believe putting higher purity stuff in the bin is what affects the speed at which humus is produced.

correct, as of the last update
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

So if I have four 50% purity worms and some 5% planks should I just build one bin and put all four worms in it rather than build four bins and put one worm in each? Would the four worms in the one bin give higher purity humus?

They will give higher purity in the same bin but you need more than 4 to get good purity.
