I'm not saying that was indeed the way they got rights to your claim, but it seems to me that would be the most plausible way if you didn't give out your HS yourself. You may want to keep your HS blank and just kin people face to face in Boston, unless you know you can trust them.

If I were you I would PM Moo and ask him to check your account. I remember in H&H, someone logged into my son's account right about when he was riding the bus home from school. When he got home I had him log in. He found that someone had logged into his account, ate all his food, striped him of his clothes/armor, and key. They put his key and clothes/armor in a crate and left the gate open. Most likely it was to let a nearby person come steal his stuff and claim. He put it all back on, closed his gate and logged out. Then I had him immediately change his log in password. Then we contacted the mods/devs. They said someone had logged into his account from an IP address in a different state.

So, change your log in password, just in case, and ask Moo to check it out to see if you were hacked or not. Take the advice of everyone here as well, especially not giving white permissions. Also (sorry if someone already said this) I personally like to delete my secret if I'm not using it. If you do use a secret make sure it is long and has numbers and letters. Sometimes people just try random secrets and find easy ones that way. Good luck.

They can, they just need criminal skills to steal/smash stuff. If you don't have a HS or set your homestead as a claim stone, they won't spawn there.

If your claim is set as your homestead, people can port there on fresh characters. If you have a leanto as your homestead, they cannot. Make a leanto and mark it as your homestead to prevent people porting to you, and remove all rights for white (all boxes are empty for it). Never have permissions for the default kin color.

So don't they have to know your HS to port to your claim stone? In Bunny's case this sounds like they figured out her HS password. Sounded like if they are "just" Kin'ed (never gave my HS out) they can also? I never leave my white friends or enemies enabled.
