Also, you are told straight away after leaving the tutorial you can find a better place to settle than the one offered you. You are also told this game isn't for the self entitled.

Look, I already explained that I have no problem with resettling or not being able to find these resources right away. And, it makes no sense to call me "self entitled" when I'm trying to avoid taking someone else's stuff.

You felt self entitled enough that you helped yourself to your neighbours belongings though didn't you, when the game didn't serve it to you on a plate.
I also don't think it's a good idea commenting on other peoples writing abilities, when your thread starts with a post claiming you have walked in each direction for several hours looking for something that can be found by the most simple minded of gamers in 15 minutes travelling in 1 direction.

Still don't like this FFA PvP aspect of the game, especially since it's so sneaky--it would be better to work together with people in an area and beef with people somewhere else, imo; but it is what it is, I suppose.

Why do I read this and feel something is off? Fishing for an invitation?

You're pretty funny for continuously reading into stuff I didn't say. I didn't even know there was such a thing as invitations until the server crashed today, and I checked the forums again. As for commenting on people's writing abilities, I have no idea what you're talking about. I was actually saying that you weren't really reading or simply misunderstanding what I meant, and thanks for proving my point yet again. It's hilarious how a couple of you reacted so negatively over one little criticism of the game.

BTW, I found the clay and lime, and I was on my way to replace the 2 clumps of clay worth of milk of lime when I noticed someone else had already destroyed or stolen the neighbor's clay trough. Someone stole or destroyed 2 of my containers full of noob items as well as some drying frames with bark; it's whatever, not a big deal. Then, I laid down a personal claim.
