I'm pretty sure mine died while in a skep too, so I assume they just have a limited life-span.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

I put 42 drones in shed and now there are only 23 drones. They die fairly quickly.

Finally! I hath deviated from my flower/grass hunt to attempt argos with my lack of combat gear and flimsy internet connection, because I decided I most definetly needed some beaks to make big feasting sessions worth the effort. Fast forward past a pack of argos, and the RNG gods rewarded me for my carelessness (had way too much **** i shouldn't have risked taking into an argo fight xD not to mention a hefty amount of overencumberence), and I got both my queen and a canine :D Life is good, for now >.>

I just got my first bee queen after 2.5 hours of foraging stupid flowers like a sissy

But do drones spawn in the bee skep like in real life, or do i have to forage for them everytime they die?
And if i have to forage... can it be just 1 drone per bee skep? i guess i'll just buy them anyways.

Drones will indeed spawn in a bee skep.

I had 7 drones for my Queen (Snow white) and they started producing a steady supply of workers
Do not argue with idiots, for they will pull you down to their level, then beat you with experience.
