In this game, the players make the rules.
I.e. the strongest players make the rules.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

You committed a crime against another player because you 'assumed' they were not active. You have no proof they were not active and simply were on holiday. You were then executed for being the criminal you are for your actions. There is no better system of Justice in my opinion and if your looking for a game that holds your hand and tells you everthing is going to be ok after you make a horrible mistake and transgress against your fellow players. This is not the game.

So you admit that KKK killing whomever they like is perfectly ok with you as the game designer. I am obviously not the first player killed by them, as evidenced by the other threads on this forum. I know one other player in my gaming group was killed by KKK simply because he walked too near the KKK township outside of Providence (i.e. with a character that was created that day). Clearly KKK likes to kill people who have "committed crimes", but they also have killed other players just because they want to. So, end of the day all that matters is the highest level players can do whatever they want, even if it negatively impacts the game experience of the other players. Since John Carver believes that this is acceptable part of the game, you are right - this is not the game for us.

Best of luck to you all in Salem.

Of course. It wouldn't be much of a sandbox if I dictated who could kill who in an OPEN-PVP game. The better question is why did your group let them kill both your friend, yourself, and however many others without doing something about it? You could kill them back, or at a minimum throw them in the stocks with minimal investment. Unless you dislike confrontation in general, and then again this is not the game for those who run away at the first sign of confrontation.

Yeah, except for the fact that KKK players (such as the one who executed me) have much more advanced characters who could easily kill my character in one hit. It seems most of the other players on this forum find it entertaining that KKK killed the character, so clearly they aren't going to do anything about it either. In fact I did ask one person to go over there and check, and after turning on tracking he confirmed that there are no murder scents there to even report. Unless someone else already did it... But I highly doubt that.

Well, if you are going to stick around I suggest you restructure your concerns to be more of inquiries as it is quite clear you don't understand even the basics of the system but I'm sure many in the community wouldn't mind explaining it to you if you have legitimate questions.

P.S. you can kill KKK members when they are offline for leaving crimes, thus making your 'power gap' concern completely irrelevant. If you can't beat an offline person who is away from his computer in a fight, you have a completely different set of problems.

2 options. Roll a new character to replace the 2 hours you lost, or pack your vagina and go home. But wasting everyone's time here is getting you nowhere

Wow Yall are all harsh! What sux the most about this is that new players try hard and spend money in the game , but dont know the mechanics of the game and Yall **** down his throat! It really bugs me that you expect him to go take revenge. Whatever!!! I am sure that we will hear soon enough about the player who killed you, being killed by someone.
Embie is my name :P
