This is whats wrong with salem.

its a basebuilding, strategic survival, scavenging and crafting game WITH pvp...

most newbs join the game and look for people to kill or steal from etc.. this might be sometimes the easiest way to get good items, but you end up dead sooner or later

dont have 200+ biles?
DONT DO CRIMES
dont have perfect gear with comon power/defense?
DONT DO CRIMES
using ur main?
DONT DO CRIMES
dont have a base to defend you with walls and braziers?
DONT DO CRIMES

is that too damn hard to understand?

No, but to understand a thing, you must first be aware of the thing. New players aren't necessarily aware of these little tidbits and many consequences.

Is that trolling or witch really killed the criminal in stockades?

What about this?

a witch could kill a person in the stocks, however in this case something alot more funnier happened.

But this contradicts JC's words . It is a bug or just a undeclared change of mechanics?

I witnessed this from the front row and can assure you some more preparations were needed here instead of just "stocking & cursing".

The criminal would still have been alive if she handled some things with more care & wisdom.

I can only say said witch is very powerful and should not be messed with :mrgreen:
