Yes...because trying to fish isn't annoying at all.

Except minigames don't really make things less grindy/boring after a week or two, they usually only add colour and a human attention requirement.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

Not once you've had enough practice. But fishing is just boring to begin with.

I agree but they do make the overall grindy tedious parts of it less attentive.

Mining for example could be made much more intuitive by adding features such as cave ins, tool breakages and the finding of hidden treasures.

Just keep on piling the negative things that could happen to you whilst mining, makes it more appealing by the second.

I have had quite a bit of practice fishing, and it has gotten no less annoying with practice. Catching a fish 80% of the time doesn't make it less annoying to have to click at least half a dozen times just to catch one.

If we're going to get more minigames like that, I vote we pass. Fishing in HnH may have been boring too, but at least it wasn't annoying or overly tedious. Minigames just make tedious tasks more tedious after the first few times.

Mining is going to get an overhaul. I would certainly like to see more stuff that can be done in a mine. But minigames? Please no.

You must be doing it wrong then You can catch good fish in very little time with just 2 clicks if you find a good fishing spot.

Fishing is a bad example, it needs some work but it could be made to be more fun and enjoyable. As for minigames everything, no of course not! As I mentioned other sorts of incentives like finding hidden gems could make tasks like mining much more interesting.

Not ghost fish you can't. Tricksy little fish those are.

You can catch the highest tier fish with two clicks, but usually they only like 4-5 things in total so getting those two options in a row is pretty luck based. You can guarentee essentially that you'll catch fish though. I'd say easy species take me 2-4 clicks most of the time though.
