The .info wiki is down 95% of the time whatnow? I've maybe once not been able to edit it. The argument against that one was that it was too out of date, but I think a lot of catch up work has been put in. Would've been more if that one were the only one left.

Lot of complaints about the wiki.... lot of complaints..

Devs don't want to host their own Wiki because Salem is supposed to be a 'figure it out by yourself' challenge. They even have a strict rule about Witchcraft on the Wiki, you cant post anything that isn't already public knowledge, otherwise they will change the entire witchcraft system if any crucial part gets leaked.

As for editing the wiki, trolls and greifing is a common thing in Salem, if you want to help edit the wiki contact the wiki owner and see what you can do to help.

Anyway, we need a wiki, that's one of the most basic things a game has, and the quality of the wiki is a DIRECT indication for how dedicated a community is!

Yes, salem is about finding out stuff yourself, that is things like that you can store gold flakes in dry goods bags and even barrels, that you can alt-shift click stuff in build signs and stockbins to fill it (custom client), how to fight deers, bears and stuff, how you mine right, how you make wrought iron without wasting piles of coal, .... and after "that" kinda stuff comes even more in the form of witchcraft.
But there are basic things that everyone should have access to, and that is what a wiki is good for, and is needed.

What is the status of that "first" wiki, this largely outdated one at http://salemwiki.info, is there anyone who still has a managing hand on it? At least, it was always fast and reliable, unlike the other wikis.
