I found 9% lime with 50 M&M IIRC. Sorry I can't give you a more concrete answer.

show me a picture that you found 9% lime with 50 mines.I can't bilieve.In my old way i was wandering so much time.For wandering lime you need more skill mines that you need for best granite.with 50 mines lime can be mx 6-7% cause checked on roanoke location.but i found all places with respwn.
In other ways.Skill mines not need just for wandering granite or lime .Better raise to 150 and then wandering .
About pots i can tell that is not so hard to find lime and granite.The most easiest server and location Roanoke cause there 3 places of good granite respawn not far from each other.10% granite good way.Lime more harder but more look in darkness).And more easy way to make good pots need find good water.That is not so hard too but maybe just Roanoke merc water)
When you get good water make 10% clay and then to get 10% pots will be good)you can grow 15+ and more trees,flowers or things for craft insp.Gardening some hard production when you have a lot of pots.How can you play in salem and do not know anything about piruty.?Read wiki more!!!

Yeah I agree. I joined the purity hunt in JT few days ago, I already found 9% lead water first day. I'm doing some cartographing,foraging, finding some purity meat and plants while doing so.
Alt currently has 100 M&M which should be enough since my friend confirmed finding 10% granite and lime with it. It might be less than 100 that is needed. H&G was harder to raise so it's only 65 at the moment.

with 65 Hunting skill you can find good 8-9% maybe even 10% but not meat)my favorite wandering work it is meat )i found 10% snake sulphur and 7-8% lead sulphur and salt deer meat)my best hunting)D
But i got 180 hunting and this is good way to get and find higher bears meat)

I'm very sure going past 100 levels to cap certain purities is enough and it does not improve your chances of finding better spawns.
Still looking for my first +45 granite/lime. When I do find that I'll check out what is the min lvl you need to forage that since I'll spawn alt there anyways.

Yeah that would be dead handy please do, I got an wee mineral forager lad up to 60 M&M and started noticing a huge difference. I scounced a 6% granite after a few screenies. I dug up a 1.33x (%3) lime boulder before and after about 40 levels and didnt notice much of an improvement. Could've just been a crappy node though

If you are playing on Jamestown that would be hard to forage good granite anf lime)very hard areas for looking)

Not to sure how, I used the 10% Lead node north of Roanoke for water and popped in maybe a 3% (defo no more than that) piece of lime and it returned 10% clay. Does that milk of lime gick only take its purity from the water and not the limey yoke and water combined?

Also should you place more lime into the bucket till (up to 5 I believe)?

The lime has a very, very small effect on the milk of lime.

My rule of thumb is to use the best free lime you have access to for it, so if the best lime you can get is (for example) purchased 8% lime from someone else don't waste it, you're way better off saving the lime for the actual pots. If you're digging it up yourself then sure, use some good lime to give yourself an extra wee bit of modifier.

I think someone said that adding more lime may get you more uses out of the milk of lime (haven't bothered confirming), but usually water is your unlimited resource so you'd just be wasting lime. I suppose also if your free lime happened to be higher than your water (though that's not going to happen with your nice 10% water) it might be good to spam lime into it to push the purity of the milk of lime up ever so slightly, but that wouldn't be helpful if your lime is lower.

well.very interesting.I have some example with lead granite on Roanoke .2 places with 9% .first good wandering with 60 + and you can get 9% second can be found with higher skill mines.
