I think I get around 1500 silver (12 argos) in my occasional 2 hour hunt.

Ill make around 3500s /hour with a character that hits 45 +

Lets say atleast 1 full inventory per go and that takes less than 1 hour.

You can kill agropelters from 50+ however just play it safe and get a character with 100ish biles and make sure it hits more than 15 to 3 hit the agropelters.

Why the huge discrepancy between you two? Is Thor using a 100 bile while you use a 300 bile character?

Difference in biles, gear and skill between me and Judaism.

Getting to the point where you can one-hit argo's speeds it up A LOT (more so than the 2x multiplier in fighting you would expect from only needing half the hits), because you will often find yourself killing an argo before it ever finds a tree to fire from. That is also possible with two-hitting (which I've done myself before), but is much harder and requires a lot of luck - at least from me.

On a side note: be careful when luring multiple argo's at once. Having multiple in the same tree seems to increase their fire rate more than you would assume (e.g. three argo's would increase it more than a factor of 3). Of course, this might also be a trauma from the argo gatling guns I've encountered in my time :)
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Nice lie Juda
Show me video where you can kill agros for 3500 silver per hour/then i will bilieve you/
i don't bilieve cause i think per hour like thor said we can get just 500-1000 silver/I can't bilieve that you found 30-40 agros less then hour)
even if you using 300 humors char it's not help.even if they respawn every 15 min but in group like 4-5 .max 20-25 agros if you have luck.
but for me Juda lied.

I am not going to upload a video which shows me hunting for 1 hour, I would get 10's gb on data and then I have to upload which also takes several hours.

You have my word about the money rate, which can be slightly different but it depends on how lucky you are with searching the agropelters.

Sometimes you find 20/hour and sometimes you manage to find more than 40.

I'm sure one can easilly obtain a "perfect" skull gear within a year.
And judging from that joined date we can assume Judaism fueled his pelter hunter with legacy products. Getting pelters 3 hit killed requires only 100 YB naked.
And I'm fairly certain you don't even need legacy to one shot pelters..

Biddas, if you are only making 1500 an hour you are doing something wrong.

very true. It's perfectly possible to one-shot argo's with a 200-YB alt (which i've done before without legacy just to prove it's possible), but it'll take a decent set. 100 YB with some minor slots is fine for casual hunting (2-hitting) to get you started =)

So I am not Neco'ing this thread to discuss who can kill argos the fastest or if they are worth the money etc etc.

I am finding that they quite often disappear on me, I don't seem to be able to work out why, some times it is when they are between two trees that are much closer to them than I am, other times it is before they have even been in a tree. It feels like a bug but I assume it isn't, it would be nice to know what anyone else thinks of why this happens so I can avoid it.

Sometimes they just spaz, their AI fails to detect an appropriate tree to climb into for them to attack you. It's really annoying when they do it despite having plenty of valid options to choose from, and I feel that in that case it's clearly a bug.

Alternatively, it happens when they genuinely have no tree in range of you to pick from, or no clear path to a tree near you.

Long ago I've been told that an argo cannot climb the same tree twice. Maybe that's why.
