If you're on Windows, you can always monitor how much bandwidth you've used since you last booted your computer. I'd have to double check to see what needs to be done in Vista and Win7/8 on this, but XP it's simply opening the Local Area Connection status (double click the connection icon in the system tray). It's shows packets sent and received, but average packet sizes are usually around the 2k mark or under. There are other monitoring tools you can get, too, that are precise.

Speaking as another resident of that 3rd world country you guy's should swap providers. Telstra charges me $130 a month which I ***** about but it's for 500 gig, $70 for 20 gig seems a little exorbitant.

In Portugal net 16mb/s 16€ without limit and fibre 100mb/s 40€. and we are in crisis :D

i think the last time i had restrictions it was like 8years ago 25gb/month were like 25euros + 1extra euro every giga above the limit.

2016 in Germany: 75GB/month, after that the download will be reduced to 384kBit/sec (no, no typo here) :roll:

Eh, I used to have 25gb/mo limit for $150. I always ended up paying ~350 because of overage...recently the ISP provided higher usage plans so now I'm at 100GB/mo for only $300. Unfortunately, I'll still probably have to pay overage charges.
