How does guard work? Do I activate it once and it's passive?

Yes, it's a passive skill. You turn Guard ON and it will consume slowly your Yellow Bile. It reduces the damage you receive :).

Only when you get hit at front. Doesn't work if you turn your back at opponent.

You don't need to leave guard on all the time. If you hotkey it (or remember the ctrl+a shortcut to toggle it, i believe it is), you can turn in on just long enough for the hit from the animal and then turn it off. Rabbits and crickets, at least, skitter off for several moments after an attack.

I got a question, too. Can anyone tell me what exactly Parry and En Garde do?

For example, I have all Humours at 7.0 and I don't have problems defeating those animals, and I'm a noob noob newbie here...

It's just a matter of knowing how to use skills :)

True.

The keys to fighting rabbits/crickets are:
1. Put your attack actions/movement modes/guard onto your hotkeys so you can attack/defend quickly.
2. Punch/uppercut, then run away till the enemy comes to you, then repeat.

They're mostly useless at the moment. En Garde enables you to use parry to stop incoming attacks. However, the timing is so touchy that you're going to fail most of the time (according to reports I've read, nearly all the time).

Other than what was already said, what could I use to raise yellow bile? And yellow bile is what affects the damage I do right?

depends how far along you are, if you have baking and cereal, make Mushroom Pies. If you have baking cereal and green cabbage make Cabbage Crumbs. If you have French Cuisine and bell pepers make Aztec Abattoir's.

but remember if you only want to get only yellow bile eat them with shrooms on a stick since that does not give any blood. (witch you will get about 50%plus if you don't)

the wiki is your friend, you should talk to him more. ;)
