Salem character log in screen problems

After dying your char body is still ingame. Till it turns into skeleton(it takes 6 or 8 hours) everyone who have your char kinned will see you as 'online' but wont be able to msg you.

If you know exactly where you logged out you can try going there with new character and see if your dead body is there. If you inherit with new char you'll be able to teleport to your old char homestead.

(and if your dead body is there it simply means that someone murdered you)

When you get KOed by animal you woke up in few mins at your leanto. If your leanto is destroyed you woke up in Boston. If someone uses murder skill on you: your char is gone(logging out while being KOed=your char still ingame till it wokes up)

but i wasnt murdered though thats what strange it still says my main is online and that i can invitre her to party and see her arrow and everything

If you logged out while you was KOed you can't be sure that someone didn't came and killed you.(and it seems clear that someone came if he broke your leanto too)

You CANT invite your dead char to party and see its arrow as dead player cant accept party invite..(+noone is there to click 'accept)

PS. Why couldnt you say real story from start? Would be much less confusing ;p

What happens when you PM the main?

Specifically, until the corpse decays if you see someone is online, but when you PM them it says "Character is not online" that means she's dead and in the decay process.

Now, there's a small possibility that someone aggroed you as you logged off/before you crashed the JavaW. Once aggroed you stay in game until the aggro wears off. If they did that and killed you, then that's a possibility of how this could have happened.


Edit: If you logged out while under KO effect this would apply until you ported back to your leanto. This requires a couple minutes and is ample time for someone to see and kill you if they wanted to.

You left evidence from committing a summonable offense (KOing somebody, stealing something, destroying something). Sombody summoned and killed you while you were offline. End of story.
