But since you can also reacquire them, I think 'might' is a good average.

That is an accurate statement lol.

Post some screenshots of your area or have your friends do it who knows may be the thief will be found out. Or better yet they didn't cover their tracks.

To be fair, very few open loot games allows your inventory to be looted while offline. He probably believed he was only in danger while logged in.

character's inventories are accessible through their homestead while they are offline.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Sorry for your loss.

It would be a shame if you quit the game because it is harder than your used to, but if you cant handle being reset to zero at any point in your game play be it a week or 2 years in, this isn't the game for you.

On the plus side in this game it is very easy to make silver and there is always people selling items from the store for silver made in the game making it easy to restart. Plus 90% of the people in the game are actually reasonable and even the people who robbed you didn't kill you to make you start from scratch, its a small mercy but one you could be happy about.

The more you play the easier it is to recover and learn from previous mistakes. I have been playing the game for about a month (if you ignore the two weeks i played in beta) I have been robbed 3 times and lost ALOT of items and silver. I was murdered by my own stupidity due to madness and coal harvesting lol and all of that has made me want to play more. I have also met some awesome people one in particular has taken me under their wing and taught me a huge amount.

I have waffled a lot but my point is this game is hard but worth the effort if you like a challange.
