Well, it was a blood moon and a turkey killed me. It was not a KO, a window popped up and then I was logged out and the character was gone.

It was infact a KO, but whenever you KO during a Bloodmoon your character dies.

Ah, oke..thanks.

Anyway no one said the most relevant thing: you were on the dead, ******, soon-to-end server (Popham).

Be sure you create your next characther in Providence (you choose it when you talk to the indian chief at the tutorial)

Yeah, I created a character some months ago and played around with it for a day, and it was on popham, I had no idea. Was nice playing on a server with so many abandoned settlements though.

Does anyone know how to get away from the see-through cougar without getting owned by it? That thing shows up randomly every once in a while.

If you have the sound on, you will hear it's roar. Unless you're running and headed nearly straight for it, you should have time to avoid aggroing it if you hear the noise. Once it aggros you though, it is faster than you can possibly go with just walking or running. You will have to run and get lucky as far as the surrounding environment goes and head off a cliff or around trees or some epic runaway like this.
