lol you keep saying kill more, that is not the point. I can kill 100 and get maybe 3 lards. That is my point. I dont need all the other meat brains skins and crap from the beaver why do I want to hunt them if it is easier to just sizzle grubs.

No. Do so and tell me how many you get.
OFC you don't want any of the other that is why you can also buy the lard
who said it's easy to build the strongest wall in the game?
Right now it's summer maybe beavers are working as intended now?

Random chance necessitates that sometimes you will kill 100 and get ZERO lard.

I remember a slotting where literally 8 in a row failed. It is random. There is nothing you can do about it except be paranoid, spin in place 3 times, recite the national anthem, and THEN kill another Beaver, and pretty sure you'll get lard then.

Yeah, beaver lard is just completely random at the moment. Who knows.

This wasn't always the case the seasons have a huge impact on lard availability, if you want a good source of lard i'd reccomend killing some poosh as they always drop a few lard from the first butcher attempts.

A little tip. If you hunt animals in Providence make sure you butcher them all the way and take the bones with you, or drop them in a river.

Just slice meat till You get meat shreds then roast it :P You will get more Lards than killing beavers.

This drop rate seems to have increased for me as well. I've only cooked about 100-150 meat shreds, so maybe it's just coincidence.

Just to add some more info. I also got Viscera & Bits in the last few days. Today and yesterday I killed 10-15 deer and 10ish beaver. I only got one lard from those beavers, but I got two beaver tails from them. The beaver tails gave me three lards each. It used to be that I would sometimes get zero and sometimes get one lard from a beaver tail until Butchers Thrift made it pretty steady at two.

As far as the deer go, I got 6 or 7 or 8 hooves from those deer. I wasn't meaning to post here and wasn't keeping track. Twice it gave me two hooves. I think this is probably on the overkill side and I shouldn't expect this rate into the future, but with this small sample size I have definitely seen an increase in special bits.

The deer i have had stored in my cart are now giving more hooves, is it seasonal related to everbloom? like supposedly the beaver lard is in coldsnap?

I did as well noticed slight increase in hoofs output during everbloom. But I cant say if that was just a random chance or if its seasonal.
