On a decay point of view,Is it advised to put a claim on my mine?
The mine will be reset after some time?
Or if there is regularly some mining activities going on, it will never "decay"?

1. not possible in the mine, but claiming the outside is a good idea.
2. no
3. there is no decay in mines, although animal carcasses left sitting out will disappear

I thought i read somewhere that "old" mines will slowly reset to their original state. Maybe i made that up.

Add decay to mines with no way to stop other than repair, supports rot and get destroyed, cave-ins happen - no additional coding required. Interesting idea

Mine entrances are eternal. They will never decay with or without a claim, and the mining you've done inside will never reset. However, it is still a good idea to claim a mine entrance for the added safety of being able to build defenses around it.
