Just don't play during Blood Moon. Fair enough. Thanks for making a game that encourages it's player base to not play.

There are special things that only happen during a blood moon. Play if you know them and want to take advantage. Don't play if you don't feel safe. Don't presume to know everything about systems in this game. ****'s deep.

Well, also you could say "play and find out if you don't know" but some people will not be comfortable. You can perma die from a stupid mistake after all.

This is not entirely true; I have seen people KO in town during a Blood Moon and not die/permadie. They KO and dropped inventory and went home.

If they KO in the open world then they will die

There are always loop holes. So that's not 100% true.

I find it kind of odd that if you want to play during Blood Moon, you can hang around town and do town things and be 'safe' from the effect of the Blood Moon. Carebear mode.

Unless people are being venal liars and trolling people into trying it, which I can also see as a viable explanation for what I see on the forums.

I'm willing to test the therory: as the researcher. I.E.: you first buddy, I'll take notes from here while you get into it with that Bear.
