If your backpack is gone then someone has robbed you. When you logged in today was your leanto there? Did you even have a leanto? Where did you log out? Did you log in exactly at the same spot as where you logged out? How did you log out (using log out button, sleeping in a bed or just closing the game)?

The physical backpack is there. The contents are gone as the regular inventory is gone. There are no scents. I was not robbed. I hit log out to exit the game.everything else in my claim is there just all my inventory and backpack inventory is gone.

When you logged in was there some warning about your current location being obstructed? Or in case you didn't read it - was there a popup after you pressed "login" by the character name?

There are indeed 2 options that happened. You either did not in fact log out correctly and took a KO losing everyone OR someone stole your items. You make want to reload the area with criminal acts ON MULTIPLE TIMES. You lost things with very little value. Move on and keep playing.
