But you can just toss them on a rack and forget about them until they're finished. You don't need to farm something and pot something else, and find somewhere to store it all until you make the finished food. I could see dried fish being good for beginners or some other players.

That said, I never use dried fish myself...

yea, thats why we have fishing traps.

Fill them up with meat cuts, come back 24h later and get 5-10 fish per trap.
