Your items got swept far down the river due to a strong current, never to be seen again. How does that RL explaination work for you?

Paid for item, took possession of it, then lost it to player error. According to your logic if I buy a new car, get drunk and wreck it into an orphanage, the dealership is responsible for selling me a car that caused damage the first time I swerved into a building. And a wall magicly fell down and crushed 24 kids...

If I accidentally walk near a Tribe base I won't complain that I lost my char uh... yet it would have still be an accident

I can't wait for him to 'accidentally' steal something and complain when he gets summoned.

doesnt work, even with detailed water its not or slowly moving and our bas was next to it, even then some Braches or trees or stones laying in water would be able to stop some of it etc... and even then all the logic is flawed since after being unconsciousness you get teleported back to town, doubt in 1600... heck even in 2014 we dont have matter-antimatter transport systems, teleporters or anything similar :p

but thx i PMd these guys
