hello caring players of salem. I wanna ask you something. I've a 1 mpbs connection. do you think it's enough to play salem fastly? i was playing the game in my friend's computer. he had 1 mbps connection either. so can u help me to fix this lag problem? thank you!

perhaps you are looking at the wrong thing. instead of your network perhaps its your computer hardware... video, cpu and or RAM.

i dont think so. Windows 8 2,5 ghz 2 gb ati radeon 7670m graphic card. 4 gb ddr 3 ram. 500 gb disc space. i heard a few program is able to help me to fix this problem but i'm some confused. Thanx for ur help.

That should be ok, although your RAM does seem a bit low for a Windows 8 machine especially if you are a multi tasker like me. Easy enough to check though, while running Salem and you feel the game is 'lagging' open up your task manager (ctrl + alt + del) and open the performance tab. is your PF usage (top left under cpu usage) greater than your total physical memory? if so your system is likely paging and that would certainly slow things down. while there how is your cpu usage looking?

firstly i wanna thank you my friend. i will check it out but my opinion is my ram is ok to play salem. i think my connection is slow. im using 1 mbps wireless connection. i tried to connect with cable. the server is kicking me off. when its done i will try it. do u know an application to dicrease ping?

I should say I haven't been playing Salem for several days now so maybe it is some kind of server lag going on but since no one else is talking about it I assumed it is fine.

as for an application that decreases ping? I dont think that is possible with software. if such a magic software exists please tell me when you find it =)
