Gluttony

Postby Faultierstein » Sun Feb 07, 2016 12:41 am

I finally passed the 60 humours mark, ive been using red froghetti blue stuffed shrooms yellow stuffed rabbit and black autumn delight, now my question is where do i go from here? i'm trying to understand food groups but i guess no one has explained it in a way i can understand lol if i eat mushrooms to 10% i just need to eat something that raises it back to above a certain % to be effective or how does that work?

It Works as every food group has a restorative food, eat a lot of mushrooms and then only 1 restorative mushroom food.

At 60 humours just use deviled beavers with steak from rabbit for phlegm ,bear for blood ,deer for yellow bile ,Beaver for black bile

At crafting food most recipes have a variable ingredient, in the case of deviled beavers it is the first steak.

To restore meat you need http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Braised_Beaver_Brain

Or having red bell peppers used in some recipe.

Restore food for mushrooms: http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Sweet_Bambi and http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Spooky_Redcap

Also try crafting or buying a gluttony set once you have a very well defended base

Dehydrated berries make great finishers... but making distillers is kinda pricey

deviled beaver is a great food to use at that point, but keep in mind if this guy is a hermit, he's not able to take down bear yet. is there something more accessible that would fill in until he can handle that fight? (actually curious myself, its been a while)

Deviled beaver is almost never an answer, unless your play sessions are once per week or something. All of the 30-45 minute timer foods are better payout all in all, and he should instead use those with restores for them. Fishing traps and crawdads for blood work just fine. Caterpillars fed with high purity cabbage purchased on the stalls. Just pick all the honeysuckle and pick caterpillars under there. Bugs are easy to restore with green bellpeppers, shellfish with wild garlic. Some stuffed wild turkey restored with domestic garlic for finishers.

Edit: Same advice i'd give anyone : cook one of every food, run some math, theorycraft what would be better, check wiki for variable ingredients for foods and restores. It's not too difficult just have a wide range of foods and never let efficiency drop too low.

Deviled beaver is an Easy answer. 1 kind of food for all humors, easily mass produced with little effort.

If your online time is limited, this is a Key food to use so you have time to actually "play the game", unless your attitude of playing the game is endlessly farming / cooking just for humor gains.
