Free Seeds

Hey everyone, forgive me my english, it is not so great

So this day i was wondering near the shops, and one guy asked me "Hey, man, do you want some free seeds, i would like to start with 0 purity". I sad "yeah, why not". So he gave me a ton of different seed for free. It looks very suspicious, that a random guy gave me so many seeds just for fun.

So i wander can it be some kind of trick? I know there is witchery in the game, so can they be cursed or something?

I dont want to be rude. If it was just a very kind man, so thx a lot. But still, can someone help me. Thx

They could be stolen and tracked that way. But as i assume you're a pretty new player if you need seeds, i don't think anyone would bother for any other reason than to grief you.

But my guess would be it was just a kind person. Seeds are for most people an abundant resource, and rather than just dropping them on the ground some people will give them away.

Yeah, you could track them but my understanding or logic would be that "no item = no track". So run on home and plant them. You use the seeds for what you want, they can't use them for what they want.

Although they could get an initial fix on you if you did it quickly enough, maybe. Still, good instinct to have. This is very much a game where "too good to be true" makes sense. It's good to question why someone would do something, although sometimes, charity is the answer.

It is charity I am sure of it. If you need seeds then you are not worth raiding most likely. I assume if you are in need of seeds you probably do not even have a mine yet. Most likely you do not have anything worth taking.

However my rule of thumb is always have at least 500 silver in the bank so when someone does come knocking you can stock them.

Yeah, thats true. I'm playing only 3 days now, so i may be a bit over reacting. I was playing HnH for about half a year, and learned, that people in this cinde of games are the biggest threat, the hard way.

Btw, since i have already spawn new thread, i happen to find some "Brilliant Honey-Dew" and "Majestic Acorn". Can i trade them for a good amount of silver? And how much do they cost?

P.S HnH sucks SO MUCH in comparison with Salem! I'm glad that they implemented this stupid P2P system, so i found out about Salem

yea...hnh is hard as hell first time i played it went really well i didnt get killed i got as far as i possibly could without metal....then i went to search for metal and found other people who took me in...then i died lol then i made a new char and died again....then finally found a place that seemed good and died again so i gave up and started salem i like salem a lot more even if it is permadeath least i have a chance to defend myself lol as for brilliant honeydew and majestic acorn i dont think so not for a good bit of silver maybe 5-10 if that they arent that rare...i have at least 4 acorns right now and i just used 2 honey-dew any ideas anyone??

Majestic Acorn is not really worthy. But try it to slot into your own clothes.
It gives some points in Rummaging and that is not the worst for beginning characters.

I think I'm going to have to give some away too. I bought a stack of starter seeds for cotton, cabbage, and corn. Now I have hundreds of each and don't know what to do with all of them.
