I always look at pages like this one http://www.thesalemwiki.com/wiki/index. ... Philosophy , sort by ratio/effectiveness and look for the ones I can acquire.

would definitly suggest to study snowballs, thats the best advice you can get its not the always most efficent way but its the easiest and fastest cause you can find a lot of snowballs up there, so you can go north and slightly east of popham for example or just west of prov, i guess there should also be some snow :D

It's all dependant on what you have available I guess. snowballs are expensive inspiration wise. If he would sooner farm silver in the time he'd spend finding a mountain and getting back and regenning inspiration, he could just buy some nice inspirationals for it. snake tongues, rats, serpent charms and argo beaks come to mind, albeit also kind of expensive.

If you learn Steam Distillation at 2100 PP, you can make dehydrated roses (also assuming you have roses).

that helps me a lot, I can probably get 1000PP of PP with salamanders and then use steam distillation, I have plenty of roses, thx

Go pick thorn bushes for "rare thorn flowers"... Thats how I grinded my PP over 100. You can find about 2 per hour as long as you don't run out of bushes. they are a 5 time study item, I study them 4 times then make a thornbush inspiration potion :D win win my friend.
