Flattening land

Postby trungdle » Fri Feb 20, 2015 7:10 am

I can't seem to finish my terraforming. The moment I come near the edge I started to change into some sitting animation or something and it prevents me from digging. It is annoying. Can someone tell me how?

I think the keyword here is "Edge". You cannot dig at a place where your pilgrim gets "scared" of the fall. Ridges etc. Try using Ctrl click digging around to flatten. Some ridges you need to actually throw more dirt on it so you can dig it down.

dump dirt on the side of the ridge or use crtl + dig command on the other side

but the highest peak seems unbreakable for me.

Add dirt around it until the ridge disappears. It's hard work but possible.

Call me lazy but it is much better just let player dig up that damn ridge without trouble. Like in real life, you climb up there and start digging!
Sign, now I need to dig a big hole on the ground, the build up a hill, just to flatten that hill and fill up that hole for good. omg
Thanks all.

I assume you're flattening that for a mine entrance or something? If not, just build ten tiles away and you won't have such problems :p
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

More of an I&I post here, but what do we have those boomsticks for? We should be able to put one to the cliff face and it'll deform.
I am a moderator. I moderate stuff. When I do, I write in this color.
