teleporting

so how do people teleport? i gave a friend 30 silver and we still cant figure out how to teleport him. any help would be appreciated

a) Why you would need 30s is for teleporting to a random place after you used the initial one from the wilderness guide. If you want such random teleport - talk to wilderness guide again (your friend should do that), pay and teleport.
b) If you want him to teleport to your homestead...
If your friend hasn't used the services of a wilderness guide: you should build a claimstone, set a homestead secret. Tell him this secret. Then your friend should talk to a wilderness guide, enter that homestead secret, press enter, then click teleport button.
If he has used them, he needs to either walk to you or make a new character and do what I've written above.

not totally true...
as things are now you can't pay for teleport, you can teleport only with the free go by wilderness guide.

if you have already used it and you don't want to make a new character just walk till your friend claim/leanto, seriusly, you can study a lot of foraged inspirationals and enjoy the best part of game just walking to reach a place

or make a new character and teleport

This but don't press the random "Okay" teleport button, instead press the button that I believe says "use complimentary guidance" after you press enter after entering the person's homestead secret.

Also remember that your friend has to be using the claimstone as his homestead, not just the owner of the claimstone.
