travel to a freind

Hey,
how do I travel to a friend?
When I talk to a wilderness guide he only want su sell me guns, but not travel to a friend anymore...

Please read other threads, or the wiki for this information as the same question has been asked many times.

You have 2 options when you FIRST talk to a wilderness guide. Either enter in the homestead secret (set within the Kin panel) of your friend or main character. This will then change to 'Use Complimentary guidance' (could do with a bit of clarification but meh) This will take you to the homestead of your friend.

OR he takes you to 3 random locations.

If you click either of these you can no longer do the other. So if he only offers you guns you have used your free guidance and must WALK.

Join a group with your friend and you will be able to have an arrow to direct you in the right way.

Walking is the best thing you can do in this game as you can collect inspirationals, dried snake skins and any food you want on the way. I rarely come back from a walk without a full inventory..

oh. I thought I could just travel to my friends homestead after I've set up my homestead. Guess I'll have to walk then...
