Iron smelting, and why it's derping for only some people.

So i've read the few accounts spread out in different topics about iron alchemical composition going derp for no apparent reason since the copper patch, and I just stuck some ore and lime in my smelters just last night and witnessed a similar event. I'd like it if people would contribute their iron purity horror stories here, including input ore and lime elemental compositions as well as dross, and various iron bar compositions if possible. I'll start out with my latest results :

Ore : 35.81 / 12.83 / 42.91 / 8.44
Lime might have had a few foraged pieces with slightly different composition, but mostly quarried with composition : 22.13/23.34/25.64/28.88
Resultant dross : 33.14 / 14.88 / 39.39 / 12.58
Resultant Iron bar #1 from smelter #1 : 26.12 /23.61 / 26.98 / 23.3
Resultant Iron bar #2 from smelter #1 : 32.59 / 15.57 / 38.41 / 13.43
Resultant dross using the same ore (I only have 1 mine) pre-copper patch, from smelter #1 : 33.45 / 15.18 / 39.30 / 12.08 and from an even older sign that I stored some dross in : 33.09 / 14.95 / 39.42 / 12.52
Older Iron bar composition from the same smelters with more or less the same mats : 33.09 / 14.96 / 39.43 / 12.52

Resultant dross from smelter #2 : 33.26 / 15.11 / 39.22 / 12.41
Resultant Iron bar from smelter #2 : 32.59 / 15.57 / 38.41 / 13.43

It's possible that I somehow slipped some forage lime with a wildly different alchemical composition into the first smelter, since it was out of my collection of sub-par lead lime, which was less than 1% purity, mainly lead, so couldn't have had a low enough sulphur value to take 42.91 sulphur ore down to 26.9.

So yeah, waiting to see what weird results you've gotten, if any, and if I misunderstood how the old smelting system worked, let me know xD I wouldn't put it past myself to have just derped entirely.
Exactly 6.022 x 10^23 worth of Lach molecules.

I have noticed no difference but i already used the same element lime as ore so maybe that's it, no idea.
No idea about composition because that stuff is insanely boring and needlessly complicated.
3% sulphur lime, 29% sulphur ore still comes out as 21% sulphur bars.
