Insanely high blood needed to kill Deers now?

I kill deers since I got 21blood and 19YB + fencing + sabre + thrust. I mainly start with a thrust (even if they run away you are still able to hit them if aimed carefully), then just run around a tree/rock/hill, etc. If you keep something between you and the deer they never charge. Let them chase you around the obstacle and when they are close to you they attack with the horns, standing still for about 1 sec., enough for you to to land a hit. They are dead within 3 hits. Careful if they just sit and apparently do nothing after you aggro, I would advice not to approach them, as they often KO'd me in 3 quick charges. Sometimes they just go crazy and charge after charge, I sill get KO'd even now with my blood way higher.

That's the whole problem with deer. Sometimes you can slaughter them, other times they just chain charge you.

My advice is kill beavers for brains and start your fields ASAP if you need food. Also, crispy crickets are amazing with the new purity for healing phlegm, so if you are burning a lot of it, I suggest collecting crickets.
