Stamp Mills have a footprint of five tiles by a little over two. It is definitely larger than two tiles.

Struggling with this myself, thanks for the tips. Leveling is the issue, even with Enders client I can't seem to work it out. Is there a guide somewhere?

press ctrl+l and mark the area you want to level, then use ctrl+dig to level a square to the lowest of its corners or ctrl+right click to drop dirt to level to the highest of the corners
yea who needs "secure" trading, its not like this game would benefit from it, lets just kill the newbs instead as long as that's fun and people still join the game.

for windmill just use the one in Boston , this save u some space to build other things
