Planed board statistics

Postby Sidran » Thu Mar 28, 2013 3:47 am

Today, all at same H&N level, I made 153 planed boards out of 288 dry planks. Makes up 53.125%. H&N level 50.
Beginners now have some orientation of what to plan for.

If anyone has some additional precise data and is willing to contribute, please do. Who knows, maybe we manage to approximate what happens here. On other hand, IMO, every game (computer or otherwise) dies a little bit every time it gets dragged into numeric frame of reference. Its up to you.

At 120 H&N I averaged about 65%

At 147 H&N I average about 72.5-75%

ok Grandma, this is what we have for now:

Image

Blue ellipse describes my estimate of boundaries of unknown values. I hope we can agree on it, more or less. What a strange function would that be  . If not strange then too complex for what we are dealing here with. But its a start, more points we get, eventually, more obvious and reliable function will get.
Thanks for input.

Great work folks! I'll be contributing to this shorty, but for now I've put up the rough figure of 50 HN to 50 percent on the wiki.
