Friends can't use buildings?

I have a few friends I've given all three permissions to but they can't seem to use the buildings on the claim. How do I fix this?

Are they in the correct colour grouping, did you double check your claim permissions after you set them?
Is the claim part of a vclaim, are they part of the town?

Also try grouping.

Yeah I have done all that. What's a vclaim? I doubt I have one but whatever. And no we are not part of a town. Just my claim. They can't use smelters, kiln, oven, etc...

vclaim = village claim or, more appropriately, town claim, which requires the skill Compacts & Constitutions. They're expensive to set up, but in general safer when used properly.
