How do you bind a key to a new Alt?

So I made an alt who will stand around and watch the grass grow on my plot, but I wanted to give him a slave-key so that he could get in and out of my base. How do I do this?

Think the only way is with a crime debuff.. take away his privaledges and get him to trespass. He wont log out and you can close browser and log in on your main and click him, but you lose him for 24 hrs as he will continually knock out until crime debuff is cleared.

first alt i did that with i got into a KO loop cause his leanto was on the property he was "trespassing" so i had to send him to boston again.

but the next alt i used the wilderness guide and quit the client and then logged onto my main char. this resolved in my alt still being logged in because he didnt have tresspassing rights to my claim but was on it from the kinsecret, so i could just atune the key to him and then give him the right permissions and he would log out.

and then its just a matter of dropping the key in a storrage he has access too, a tree stumb will do fine since the key is atuned to only him.

Hmm, quit the client to leave the alt stuck on your property. Good idea! I noticed that I couldn't switch characters due to him trespassing, but didn't think of exploiting that to make my alt stay put.

I already gave him permissions. I should be able to strip his permissions and then do it afterwards, right?

Or use a second account running in the background. That's much easier and all but the oldest single-core processors can handle it.

Well, I trapped Jeb on the property, bound a key to him, and so now he can enter and leave as he wishes.
