Planed Boards -> Wood Choppings

Postby Glooms » Wed Mar 06, 2013 8:36 pm

Hey All,

I'm attempting to plane a dry board, and so far I've only gotten wood choppings (tried twice). I just want to confirm, is there a chance of failure? Or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks!

Hammer & Nails "increases the chance to gain planed boards while carving." http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Hammer_%26_Nail

Do you use this http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Timber_Pile for dry your fresh boards made on http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Sawbuck on what you must first choop the tree, second lift it and r-click on sawbuck? Than you can make boards. Or maybe this topic is to high advance for me. :D

Also note that (especially wiht low h&n, i'm talking 1500-2000), the success chance is very low, probably about 20-30% (can't remember exactly, but expect to fail A LOT)
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Thanks all. I didn't expect that high of a failure rate.

I appreciate the help!
