This client is too old

Hi everyone

I registered and downloaded the client for Salem just now. However, after logging in, I get an error message saying "This client is too old"

I can't see where I can download another client, and it IS the client that was offered to download after I confirmed my registrations, so I'm not sure what's happening.

Launch from this link: http://plymouth.seatribe.se/java/salem.jnlp If you have the same file on your computer somewhere, delete it. If it doesn't work the first time, clear out Java's cache. Open the Java options (through Control Panel in Windows), under Temporary Internet Files, click the Settings button, and then the Delete Files button in the window that opens. Make sure that "Cached Applications and Applets" is checked (should be by default) and then click OK. Wait a moment for the operation to finish, and then download again. It should then work.

Thanks. I followed those instructions (twice to be sure), and I still get the "This client is too old" error. Is there anything else I can try?

Kind of wierd you are getting that message with a fresh install of the default client. You could try a different client like Ender's Client.
