Stone Boulder vs. Granite Boulder

Does anyone know what the difference in design is? The wiki does not have a picture of the Granite Boulder, therefore I'm not sure which one to chip while foraging.

For things that require "any stone", it doesn't matter whether you use generic boulders or Granite.

However, there are some things which specifically require Granite itself as an ingredient:
-Stone Hedges (15 granite in the starter corner, 8 required for additional corners, 1 per wall segment)
-Gardening Pots

Since regular stone can be gotten in quarries, but granite cannot, it is better to chip the generic boulders than granite boulders, which are non-renewable at present.

Here is a reply in the Ender Client Thread to help you add additional information to your radar.xml file. Some of these are now added by default, so be sure to read as much of the thread as necessary to understand how to edit the radar.xml file

some of these I had to add by hand to, I don't know whether they are standard by now:
Code: Select all

   <marker match="gfx/terobjs/bumling/bumling" text="Stone Boulder" color="#333333" />

Oh hey, Champie actually answered the question rather than misreading it like I did!

Granite is redder than stone and the boulders have two lumps rather than just 1.
