To build on a slope, does anyone know if the points need to be equal on at least to sides, for example: 4____4
| |
2____2

Based on what I'm exp. I'm gonna put it out there as no.....but looking for someone to validate my assumption.

Also, I'm building my third wall layer and all of a sudden I get the "Ground not flat enough" notification when I got to put a section down. Problem is, the tile is EXACTLY the same (Slope, height of points) as the tile next to it and the tile next to the one, both having a wall segment. Does anyone know if the level you are extending from (Ascend vs. Descend) makes a difference?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

I ran into problems when building split-rail fence. It seems to require a maximum difference of 4 points. After that I have made sure to flatten every single tile where the walls (any type) go, as well as the tiles next to the wall segments, just to avoid future issues.

I read a topic where someone experienced the same issue as you (non-flat even though the dig tool says so). It turned out the person had an uneven tile not far from the tile he wanted to build on. I've tried to locate the topic for you but can't find it.
The topic also mentioned removed tree stumps as a possible culprit but I don't know if that has been confirmed or not.

I read through that, thanks. I have everything flattened out to one side of of the tile....as I said, the other side two more tiles deep has walls on it at the same incline. I tried starting a new corner and building from the direction as I've actually run across situations where I can build one way and not the other. Unfortunately, NOW I no longer get the not flat issue.....I just can't get into the spot. Apparently, you can't place a sign post for building when you only have the tile you want to build on as clearance in two directions?

I guess it's a good thing they nerfed walls in the last update but, I'm still not looking forward to having to tear down basically 10 walls or more since I'll need to adjust the slop gradually, if that's the problem even though I don't see how. At this point, I'm wondering if it's a bug. I'd like to submit it but I want to make sure it one before I do so.

I took a SS. Th tile missing wall is EXACTLY the same as the two with wall upward from it, in this perspective. Weird huh?

Are you sure your cornerpost was absolutely straight and square when you put it down? If it wasn't you'll have to tear down the crooked one and all the walls attached to it. And you're too late, walls have been rebuffed to ultra strong again.

I'm guessing it shouldnt' matter if the corner post on one side was off center or not (But no it wasn't) The wall segment would come straight off of it in either direction and I've built walls that connect off center. It's actually kinda cool looking, lol.
