No zoom

Since the camera update I can no longer zoom out - i've tried to play like it but I just can't, it's impossible.
Can anyone give me any suggestions as to how I can fix it? Or why this has happened? I appear to be the only one this has happened to.

If I reinstall Salem, will doing that mean I lose my chars?
I'm hopeless with all this kind of thing, so that may be a silly question, idk, I just want to be able to play!

Do you use Ender client? Ender client allows you to change camera.
You will not lose anything if you reinstall Salem.

I wasn't using Enders, I couldn't get it to work previously - however, i've just downloaded it again and so far so good - fingers crossed.
