Is there a list of some cheap/easy ones?
I'm currently living the live of a roaming Pilgrim until I get some decent skills to settle down,
and I'm mostly interested in feral ones/common combat ones (or are there reasons I shouldn't be?)

i use salemwiki.org often, but they don't seem to have a list yet (except for a couple of random items put in there)

Also, is there some explanation on what exactly the various stats do ? E.g. is common combat power simply added to the yellow bile during calculations, stuff like that ...

Use http://salemwiki.info/ instead. The artifacts are still new so they're being added as people go, I imagine. Give it some time and there will be a more comprehensive list. =)

Still, anything known on what the boosts themselves exactly do ? I'll gladly create a wiki page if I get any replies here :p

Relevant artifice effects
Most obviously all existing attacks have been given a type. For each damage type there is a corresponding defense stat. The existing ones are presently:

Common Combat Power/Defense (includes all other types)

Concussive Power/Defense
Blunt Power/Defense
Impact Power/Defense
Piercing Power/Defense
Feral Power/Defense

All animal attacks are considered Feral. Other existing attacks present their types.

When determining damage, a comparison is made between the power of the attacker, and the defense of the defender, and the damage is modified accordingly: Up if the attacker has more, and down if the defender has. Whenever (and at whatever level) the attacker's power and the defender's defence values match, the final attack damage remains unmodified.

Well, this is what the boosts do... Determine damage of different attack types.

Well.
I wear clothes with Etterfang, so I have +20 feral defence.
This +20 made such effect: animals make 0.1 less damage.

So this is either arythmetical or geometrical progression, we'll see with more Etterfangs.
Other damage types are obscure for me. I wonder if they are revealed in main discussion thread.

So far, I know that there is http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Category:Artifacts, and I think that is a comprehensive list of the current artifacts.. There's nothing on the wiki for equipment yet, so if you were looking for that, you can probably find a ton over in the artifacts/artifices announcement thread.

If I'm not mistaken, the only artifact with feral defence atm is the etterfang, but there are a bunch with common combat power/defence.
