The wiki is misleading when it comes to gardening.

Almost all things you plant just turn into x2 or x3 of the same item.

The exceptions are:

Wild Garlic: ~20% to turn into Garlic
New World Gourd: Can turn into x1 of either Baby Bear / Red Pepper / Green Pepper (output is now x1 not x2)
Beaming Sunflower: Random result from anything in a pot

That table on the wiki is kinda misleading. You can get a Beaming Proud Sunflower out of *anything* planted in a gardening pots. Hell, I even got one from a tree.

This is interesting. I didn't think you could get a Beaming Proud Sunflower from a tree. Did you report it on the bugtracker? It sounds like a bug to me.

You can get Salem Wiki: Beaming-Proud_Sunflowers randomly from gardening pots, not Salem Wiki: Sunny_Sunflowers.

If you replant a Salem Wiki: Beaming-Proud_Sunflower you will most likely get Salem Wiki: Sunny_Sunflowers from harvesting.

But to get a sunflower from a tree seems bugged to me. Because the cutting is already quite large when it's planted.

It took me about a week of planting 1 wild garlic pot a day to get domestic garlic.

It took me about 2 weeks of planting 1 tree cutting a day to get any sprouts, with just enough profs to learn forestry. (but then I got two sprouts in a row)

I seem to average about 1 beaming proud a week, when I plant 4 pots per day. (it's random though, so you might get them much sooner or much later than I did)
