true but if you don't know what you are doing you waited a week for 100s of wood chips. Not nearly as bad but still annoying to people

Originally, you had to maintain the crucible 50% filled with branches during the whole process (ie add a branch every 30 minutes or so) to get the maximum quality. Now that was fun.
