Question on inspirationals and other things from a noob

Postby Artaniss » Wed Jan 09, 2013 2:31 am

Hey guys, I am loving this game so far and have a few more questions for you guys.
1. How do i raise Cloak and dagger? How do I know which inspirational I need? I know it's stupid question and the answer is probably very easy but I can't figure it out lol.
2. What are inspirationals for exactly? Are they just for you to raise certain skills?
3. Maple leaves. Where in Good Heaven's name d you find them? :)
4. And last but not least my biles. Do i need them all full in order to go in to Gluttony? And what should I raise them to in the beginning?
5. If they all have to be full do I just left click on the bars to go into Gluttony?
I am sure there will be more but that's all my barin can handle right now lol. Thanks guys...

I don't know if the Sevenless Guide talks about the Maple Leaves, but I would like to say it here: Everye maple tree has only 2 maple leaves. If someone takes them, they won't grow again (or so I read). So, it's umprobably to find some in Boston, you will have to go to the Lumberwoods and walk pretty far to find some...

I believe maple leaves now respawn after time. Must be confirmed.

Maple leaves regrow after a few days-week. I hear it is tied to the decay mechanic, so it can be a little random. You won't find any by Boston unless you're extremely lucky, but out in the wilds most trees are left unharvested. (A Taste of Autumn is probably the thing they're most often used for, and well developed claims will have better alternatives)

Early on the easiest C&D inspirational to find is Singing Old Logs. (they spawn fairly commonly in any forest and give 900 C&D)

Another option is to make A Taste of Autumn. (this does need maple leaves, so you'll have to get away from boston first, but it is very easy to craft in an autumnal forest and gives 300 C&D)

1. A list can be found here: http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Cloak_%26_Dagger
2. Yes, skills.
3. Maple trees. They respawn, just very, very slowly. There is a small autumnal forest area near my claim - they seem to regrow about once a week there.
4. Yes. All to 10, at the least. Phlegm, and Black Bile first. Yellow Bile and Blood are mainly for hunting, getting your Phlegm up will help you build quicker since you won't need to eat as often, Black Bile will help you learn skills faster. Try to raise them evenly if possible, since it will be easier to raise them later on this way.
If they're uneven - say you have 20 Black Bile and 5 of the rest - then you will need 20 points for anything to raise. So 20 Blood food to hit 6 Blood, and so on.
5. Click the forks, I don't know if clicking the bars work.
