So it's capped. Does this mean that if there are more then 10 braziers in range they would be firing blank and just wasting coal?

Best guess about braziers is that they all share the coal use equally for the amount of damage dealt. So what it does is actually allow your entire setup to fire longer because the damage hasn't gone up but the stored coal has.

At that point though they're busting your walls down anyway. Fuel is never the cap on defenses with this system.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

The more braziers you have, the more effort it takes to bash them all. But yeah, going from 10 to 15 braziers adds some 12% to the total damage output so that's pretty moot.

No it doesn't. 10 is the cap on damage

Oh. The formula on the wiki lets you approach 15 damage. I didn't realize there was a cap in addition to the theoretical maximum of 15.

Q1. What's the rationel for having braziers only activate after 2 crimes? why don't they activate emediately?

Q2. What would be the total BB drain on a 50 humour char taking 1 fully loaded single brazier(using up all the coal)?
Q3. What would be the total BB drain on a 100 humour char taking 1 fully loaded single brazier (using up all the coal)?

Is the amount the same in Q2 and Q3?

if the answers are known i won't bother to test, just seems like the value per tick was known without knowing how many tics a fully loaded brazier contained.

Q2 and Q3 are the same answer as damage is fixed per shot (although damage scales down per brazier when more than one is firing). Sorry, I don't have the exact answer, though. I believe that the damage caps out at about 10BB per shot if memory is serving me correctly.

Q1 is more appropriate to ask of the devs, and it has been. I don't think I've seen a clear answer.

You Can Lock Mines! D: Why did I not know this! *goes to lock all my mines*

Uhm, Dallane didn't mean (I think) locking mines with keys. He meant KOing alt at the mine entrance. Alt would stay KOed for 24 hours not letting anyone go through. Criminals would have to murder the alt and then wait for the body to turn into skeleton. However, claim owner can simply send KOed char to its homestead opening the passage

Ya I got that a little more annoying to do since you need to put the alt back every 24 hours but still useful. :) also you can't lift body's until they turn to skeletons? have not killed anyone yet to test that. :P
