Can't click on the guy with the brown hat or to move.

I know this is properly a stupid question but i am having issues. I recently downloaded the game and logged in. But when the main port loads up I can't click anything with either the left or right button. I can move with WASD but not with the mouse. I have reinstalled Java and tried a different mouse but neither is working. I am currently using a ASUS laptop if it makes a difference. Thank you in advance.

Try deleting your java and downgrading to Java 6, game works best with 6 from my experience. (might fix it)

Also maybe try using a modded client like Enders (viewtopic.php?f=11&t=50), it might help fix your problem (The client will enhance your gaming experience period imho even if it does not fix your problem)

If neither of these help you, nothing more i can suggest, but maybe updating drivers for your laptop if there is any could help.

Def try java 6 and enders. Will make everything a ton better. Also maybe a mod could moved this into the Bugs & Technicalities section.

Similar issues have been reported from players. Unfortunately, I don't know of any fixes.

Do you use some keyboard / mouse with their dedicated drivers? Maybe some special microsft ones which require their own app to work?
