Check the wiki for the different pants you can make.

None of the craftable pants specifically match the trapper's outfit, and there aren't any pants you can make with leather.

Brownpants should work well with the outfit. You get those in the character creation area, so if you've discarded them you could roll up an alt to get them.

Ok, thanks for the reply. I have the starter trousers and was a bit sceptic to those at first. But they don't look too shabby. Might just wear them until something better comes along.
