Blackberry Bushes

There is nothing on the wiki about them specifically. How long do they take to reproduce blackberries? Do you need a specific skill to pick from them? I've been wandering around and they are everywhere near me but they either never have anything on them or they are insanely hard to find the 'perfect' right click spot to pick them.

It's a decay feature. I'd hazard a guess of roughly 1 week for half the berry bushes to have berries again.

As you could guess, any population in the area denudes the bushes very fast.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

Could be worse, IRL it takes a whole year for new blackberries after the homeless have picked the bushes clean along the highway.

I believe they never respawn, I've heard as much in IRC and I have had a bush on a claim for about 2 monthes, no scents, and still hasn't respawned along with bushes around my area.

With no skills, assuming the bush is fresh, you can pick 3 berries. If you have flowers and berries(?) you can pick an additional 2 berries.

They do respawn (eventually...). It prob doesn't help that you're always around your bush though (assuming you use that claim as a homestead/or just go there frequently).

This is not true. I walled a blackberry bush into my first settlement and harvested from it several times.

Also, I think the berries grow over time. If you hit a bush immediately after it's regrown, it gives 2. If you wait some time, it can get up to 5 berries. I think you're right in that it caps at 3 if you don't have flowers and berries. (though I farmed up flowers and berries early on, so not 100% sure on that.)

I have seen respawns. If you don't see any, it could just be you have hungry noobs wandering through your area a lot.
