Also this is why it's usually a good idea to teleport to Boston before logging out. That way if someone's in the process of ransacking your farm when you teleport home, you won't be stuck on the loading screen while bad guys are killing you. If you log in in boston then teleport to your homestead, there's a chance you could see whats going on and teleport back to boston before they kill you.
